How do I set up a comedy club?

Many people find the best way to get gigs is to set up a comedy club of their own. Virginmirth have run comedy clubs for four complete seasons between 1997 and 2003 (CLICK HERE FOR VIDEO CLIP FROM BBC TV BROADCAST).

We shouldn't really give all this information away as we will be launching training materials in the future on this topic - however, in the meantime, you're welcome to take advantage of what we learnt in the early days. This material has been acclaimed by Steve Lount, who has been running professional comedy clubs for decades, as "absolutely spot on, and 100% correct".

Can I learn about comedy from home?

We are really excited about our latest project - which is to provide distance learning for people who cannot make to our comedy workshop, especially from outside the UK. Completion of the course enables participants to optionally submit a video of their performance. Achievement of sufficient quality will qualify for a Virginmirth Comedy Accreditation Certificate at either Bronze, Silver or Gold level (in exceptional circumstances, Platinum can be awarded). 

Our DVD offering is currently under development and will be launched next year.

We will be offering a limited number of pre-release versions free to people who register their interest NOW
