When chasing the promoters of these clubs for a spot, remember:
 | The bigger, more professional clubs will be far better targeted once you have a number of good gigs under your belt. |
| Don't harass promoters by phoning them constantly until you receive an answer. A good rule of thumb is to contact someone once, leave your details - including your contact telephone number, and wait for a return call. If you haven't heard from them within a month give them a quick follow-up call. Only phone them daily if you are in love with them. |
| Acts are booked a long time (often months) in advance. If you are offered a spot, take it and turn up for it. If you can't make a gig let the promoter know. Or don't bother phoning again. Anyone. Ever. |
